 Workshop day

Schulungszentrum University Hospital Zurich  (click to enlarge)

Workshop day is organized in collaboration with the Heart Lab Foundation. The objective is to fill the gap of knowledge among heart specialists, to get informed around the latest news in the field of transcatheter mitral and tricuspid interventions. You will be able to choose up to 4 out of small group workshops according to your interests. All workshops are intended to be hands-on with active participation of the audience. Anatomy workshop will focus on the anatomical details which are meaningful for mitral and tricuspid interventions. Tricuspid workshop focuses on depth on techniques and technologies to treat TR. Mitraclip beginner and advanced workshops will cover the full spectrum of this therapy. Innovation workshop is the place to be for those who are interested to understand the secrets of innovation and how ideas are brought into clinical practice. Imaging plays an important role in interventions and will be displayed in the CT and echo workshops. Surgery for interventionalists and wire skills for surgeons are crosstraining workshops dedicated to fill the gap of training. One workshop will focus on annuloplasty, the raising star in transcatheter mitral repair.

 Mitral day

Audimax, ETH Zurich  (click to enlarge)

The first day we focus on surgical and interventional mitral replacement, while keeping you posted with latest news on repair. Interventional mitral valve replacement introduces new issues and discussions. Live cases will inspire the debates. Innovation breaking news will bring the lates updates from new techniques and devices. The program covers both surgical and interventional solutions and will merge knowledge from both fields, offering an unique opportunity of networking. All participants can interact with the audience and bring opinions, questions, doubts and suggestions: be ready to share your experience!
