Wet Lab with Realistic Phantoms for Practical Courses
For the 20th edition, the HeartLab will take place on November 17th-18th, 2016 at the University Hospital Zurich. A reason to celebrate!
An international faculty of experts will give you a practical update on the latest advancements from endovascular and minimally invasive procedures. The topics will be picked out for you from vascular, arrhythmia and valves (mitral, aortic, tricuspid) treatments.
The HeartLab course is organised with a very own concept that makes it a unique experience to the whole Heart Team:
- First, a specific cardio-vascular procedure is introduced by an expert team in the field, and then demonstrated live, using simulators and realistic models holding a complete anatomical situs
- Second, the participants perform the same intervention in parallel, on identical models specially developed and equipped for this purpose. Simulators will be available for every participant
- Third, experts and participants experiences are wrapped up in a moderated interactive discussion
